When Michael's attempt at suicide awakens a psych ward demon, he must stop her before she kills everyone in the hospital.
Running longer than a usual FtLoS, The Quiet Room is an excellent piece of horror film. Being both touchingly sentimental and disturbingly horrific is quite some feat. Writer / Director Sam Wineman does some good stuff behind the camera, with nice directorial touches, and a very well rounded story.
The cast are equally impressive, with lead Jamal Douglas doing excellent work, supported by Kit Williamson, Barkley Harper, and Chris Salvatore all doing sterling work. There's even a helping hand given by some familiar faces on the drag circuit from Brian McCook and Alaska Thunderfuck.
The FX on show are fabulous, and the sound design is spot on. For such a long short the time flies. Great stuff from all involved.
