While the final payoff may not be for everyone, this is a stunner. Absolutely dripping with atmosphere, Xano Alexander's The Halls is one gripping watch. There is some clever effects at work - with some fantastic shots. We're not even sure how one or two of them were achieved. It looks like film maker Alexander is the star of the show as well, although unaccredited, and it's a solid little performance.
This sort of short begs for the film maker to make something longer - can someone give this guy a budget and let him loose with it?
Awesomely atmospheric stuff: Must see.
