Jennifer returns home to find her roommate unconscious. After reviving her, it becomes apparent that something is occurring inside their apartment. Something awful.

Written and directed by Jeffrey A. Brown (The Wooden Box), Sulfuric is slow burn, atmospheric horror. It's nicely shot, giving away nothing with clever lighting and careful shot choices. With two excellent performances from leads Tyler McClain (I Can't Dance) And Irene Longshore (Girl, Interrupted), it'll get under your skin long before the conclusion.
This sort of horror is not about the pay off, it's about the build up. How much emotion can you pack into a few short minutes with only two people on screen? Can the director draw enough out of his cast to build a relationship with the audience in less time than it takes to make a coffee?
One to watch with the speakers turned up and the lights down low.
